Between the Notes: A Night of Jazz on Vinyl

This month will feature Lord Lewis the Velvet Knight, one of CT’s premier deep cut selectors, record collectors and radio show hosts. His legendary show, the Rumpus Room on WESU 88.1 FM, has been showcasing the finest selections for 20+ years and he plans to bring those grooves to Hamden for your listening pleasure. Expect nothing but the best from the 60s to 70s soul jazz, jazz funk, and spiritual jazz; spanning classic rare groove to the vibrant contemporary international jazz underground.

He joins our resident selector Lovejoy and the two will be highlighting selections from their extensive vinyl collections on one of the finest sound systems in the state. An all analogue experience is Between the Notes.
