Between the Notes is back October 16th at 7pm. Resident DJ Lovejoy will be joined by New Haven’s Heavy Sound & Vision!
These two will be exploring the intersection of Jazz and Hip Hop. From Post Bop to Boom Bap, Jazz roots have expanded through Hip Hop and will be highlighted with selections played exclusively on vinyl.
Lovejoy and HS & V are happy to carry on tradition by playing wax from the greats of both genres and the needle drops at 7pm. Pizza from Jam City and drinks from Hamden’s finest bartender with the sweet sounds of a curated vinyl session is exactly what your week needs.
