Between the Notes, a Night of Jazz on Vinyl returns to The Cellar on Treadwell, Thursday, June 19th, with special guest Heavy Sound & Vision.
Jesse aka Heavy Sound will be going deep into his extensive collection to air out some of his favorite Jazz Funk records. Think Donald Byrd, Deodata, Lonnie Liston Smith. Jesse is a vinyl digger and has DJed all over. His affinity for finding deep and rare cuts is unmatched and this evening is going to be all about those grooves. He joins resident selector Lovejoy for an exploration into this genre that’s promised not to disappoint.
